I’m in Italy!!!
I arrived in Italy at about 10:30am. I was the first to reach the apartment; the door literally took me ten minutes to open (probably wasn’t actually that long but it felt like it). There’s this giant, spring-loaded deadbolt on it, and it was super difficult to open, mainly because I didn’t know whether to turn the key left or right for the two locks, also the door got kinda stuck at the bottom. My first roommate who showed up was Nina; she got here about an hour after I did. We decided to head out to take pictures of everything we walked past, haha! Karen showed up around 5 or 6-ish? I don’t remember, all I know is I was sooo jetlagged that I greeted her upon her arrival and promptly fell asleep after that. Nina ended up talking to her. Our last roommate is Stella. She got here around 8? Then we went out to have dinner.
I was finally able to upload pictures online. Wi-fi in our apartment wasn’t working yesterday, but someone came by to fix it this evening. So I’ve pretty much been online since he fixed it.

Had orientation today. We met our advisor and got lots of advice and tips for our stay here.
We’ve walked everywhere. The weather is nearly perfect. The architecture is amazing. This city is so gorgeous! I can’t believe I’m really here.
